Amman, Jordan—September 2014: Elia Nuqul Foundation has recently held a graduation ceremony for its scholars class of 2013/2014, attended by the Foundation’s guests and key sponsors. The graduation ceremony took place on September 7th at the Al Hussein Cultural Center in Amman and was sponsored by FINE Hygienic Paper Company.
Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Elia Nuqul Foundation, and Ms. Randi Abdin, Director of the Foundation, welcomed ENF guests, giving a brief on the Foundation’s goals and objectives in addition to its achievements, since it’s inspection in 2008.
Commenting on the importance of this annual ceremony, Mr. Nuqul said: “Today, we celebrate the graduation of our senior students as it marks the completion of their years at Elia Nuqul Foundation, during which they received our full support and attention. Their accomplishment is first and foremost, a personal one as the knowledge attained over the years enhances their capabilities and undoubtedly helps them achieve the highest levels of success. Secondly, it benefits them on a professional level by helping them enter the labor market with full understanding of what is required of them with motivation and hope.
Mr. Nuqul further added: “Here at ENF, we will continue to give attention to student aspirations as we have done in the past. In spite of the challenges, we seek to guide them on ways to improve Jordan’s social standards. Hence, we have devised capacity building programs as well as scholarship programs for students in order to give them the necessary tools to succeed personally and make positive contributions to Jordan both economically and socially.”
Mr. Salim Karadsheh, CEO of Fine Hygienic Holding, also commented by saying:“Our support for today’s graduation reflects the strategies of our Corporate Social Responsibilities programs, which place great focus on students development in order to ensure that they become productive members of society. We will continue our efforts in providing support through the funding of various programs aiming at developing the capabilities of Jordan’s youth.”
