ENF Signs Partnership Agreement with Housing Bank for Public University Scholarships
Amman, May 2016 – Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) has signed a partnership agreement with the Housing Bank to offer a number of ENF students scholarships to pursue their studies at public Jordanian universities. The agreement will further enhance Elia Nuqul Foundation’s (ENF) partnership with the banking sector in Jordan, to further empower youth to achieve their full potential by completing their undergraduate studies.
The scholarships, which focus on degrees in the banking sector, cover the full tuition fees as well as a monthly stiped for each student.
Signed by Housing Bank General Manager, Ehab Saadi, and by Chairman of the ENF Board, Ghassan Nuqul, the partnership aims to increase the number of ENF scholars, thus creating success stories that reflect on the overall development of the community.
Commenting on the agreement, Ghassan Nuqul said that ENF enrolls its scholars in various developmental programs run by the Foundation, and offers them curricular and extracurricular training that aim to develop their skill sets and prepares them to enter the job market.
Housing Bank General Manager Ehab Saadi, said that the Bank’s participation in such a program stems from its firm belief in the responsibility it has towards the community. He reiterated that supporting the education sector is key in building an exceptional society, and it is vital in supporting all types of economic activities; development is a reflection of a number of factors, one of which is education.
